I'm an independent Android developer. I build small, focused tools in my spare time and write the notification guides published on this site. I'm not affiliated with any phone manufacturer or carrier, and I don't run an agency — just one person who got tired of important notifications disappearing.
Why I write these guides
Most "notification help" content online is either a one-line forum answer or a thin page stuffed with keywords. I wanted a place with clear, tested, step-by-step instructions that actually match what you see on a modern Android phone — Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, and stock Android included. The guides here are written to be useful on their own, whether or not you ever install anything.
Why there's also an app
After writing the guides, I kept hitting the same wall: Android has no reliable built-in "pin this notification to the top" that works across every phone. So I took Pinnit by Sasikanth Miriyampalli (Apache License 2.0) and adapted it into Dingpin — a free, open-source app that pins and keeps notifications visible. The app is one option among many; the guides cover the built-in methods too.
Editorial independence
To be straight about it: I maintain Dingpin, so this site naturally mentions it. But the guides are not advertorials. Where a built-in setting does the job, I say so. Where Dingpin helps and a stock feature doesn't, I say that too. Recommendations are based on what I've actually tested on real devices, not on what I happen to ship.
