Dingpin is a free Android app and this is its companion website. This page explains what data we handle and how the site uses advertising.
Information the app does not collect
Dingpin runs entirely on your device. It does not require an account, does not sync to a cloud, and does not upload your notifications to any server. Pinned items, history, and exports stay on your phone.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
This website displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies. These technologies help:
- serve ads that are relevant to your interests (personalized advertising);
- limit how often you see the same ad;
- measure ad delivery and performance; and

The data processed may include your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, and information about how you interact with pages on this site. How we use cookies
We do not set our own advertising cookies. The only advertising cookies on this site are placed by Google AdSense when ads are displayed. These cookies fall into the following categories:
- Essential: no essential first-party cookies are required to browse the static pages.
- Advertising / measurement: Google may set cookies such as the DoubleClick cookie and AdSense identifiers to deliver and measure ads.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and the right to data portability. When ads are shown on this site, you may also see a Google "Privacy and cookie settings" link or ad choices icon that lets you change your consent immediately.
European Economic Area (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent national laws. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Google's ad services may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
